Description

The principle on which the thermal weeding technique is based is that of boiling the tissues of weeds.

Heat stroke, during treatment, must be brief to avoid carbonisation of the plant matter.

Thermal weeding allows for ecological weeding since propane, when burned, transforms into water vapor and carbon dioxide.

  • Automatic gas shut-off valve in case of leakage or breakage of the flexible hose; pressure regulator. (fig 1.)
  • Backfire safety valve mounted in line on the flexible pipe. (fig 2.)
  • Piezoelectric ignition (fig. 3)
  • NF EN3 certified fire extinguisher (essential for the user).
  • In the event of a fire, the user has the means to extinguish it and avoid any catastrophes. The gas cylinder is firmly and securely attached to the trolley. The cylinder fits into the structure: a chain wraps around the top to prevent it from overturning on uneven ground.(fig 4)
